I don’t care what you say, I love my Segway.

Sounds like a catchy song, don’t it? On Saturday, Mr. Sunshine and I went on a city segway tour. The afternoon started with yours truly being the guinea pig, i.e. the first one to try the machine. Yes, I was a segway model. Yes, I know it sounds super-glam, but really the only plus was I had a little more extra time to ride the segway than anyone else. Poor Mr. Sunshine was last. Our tour guide, Marathon Matt, was pretty fun. It was his last day, so he didn’t give a crap what we did – not really anyway. And so, there we were coasting along for three hours over grass, over hill, sea and shore…well, maybe not sea, but definitely gravel and cement. I won’t speak on anyone else's behalf, but I thought it was soooooooo fun and let’s just say that there has been some discussion of co-ownership of one of these AWESOME machines. Oh, and until you’ve tried it, you don’t get an opinion.

The honorable mention of the weekend was attending the Chicago Bar Foundation's silent auction at The Field Museum. Roomie managed to get us in under cover of night and stealth...uh, really, his firm was a sponsor of the event. I think all that CLF auction training finally paid off. Roomie and I walked away with three items!! Hee. Let's just say that some of you might get forced into attending the Chicago Bar Association's musical this year.... Oh, and you'll never guess who we ran into at the auction, very drunk and with wife in tow - does anyone remember our beloved Health, Law, & Policy professor? Oh yes, and be proud, I did actually talk to him...unlike when we were in class. Ahhhh, memories.

Get back to work.
