Well, hopefully, my friends will think this is a good idea, and we'll share the *exciting* anecdotes of our daily lives with each other. Unfortunately, "outsiders" will have to observe the mindless blabber of these individuals. Of course, departure through the emergency exits is only a quick click away, so I will not be too nonplussed. As I say, this is primarily a means to keep in touch; any entertainment value others may derive is purely an incidental benefit. Now, on with the posting.
Summer associates.... I find it hard to recruit unless there is an alcoholic or strongly caffeinated beverage in my hand. Is it bad that I find my advisee totally annoying? I kind of want to kick her. And she's not even bad! Just usually late to things, a slow eater, loud laugher, really animated for no good reason and generally space-cadetish. That's enough to put a gal on my "kick" list apparently. Shameful.

Being on the other side of the summer associate thing kind of blows goats. All these damn events are taking up way too much time, and plus, the last thing I want to be doing is "pitching" for the firm when really all I want to do is gripe, complain, and whine.
