Gobble-de-gook

As you may have guessed, work recently has picked up for me. All last week, I had a pretty busy week, i.e. a few late nights plus working a little on the weekend. Nothing too stressful, but a lot of stuff to get done. Now, I'm back to the twiddling my thumbs, making rounds around the office, and doing mindless doc review. Just in time for the holidays!

As it's the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and I am unlikely to post during the holiday, let me wish you a wonderfully happy Thanksgiving!! I hope everyone has fabulous plans for the holiday! I will be going home to the land of waving wheat for the turkey-day-weekend-holiday. Our family's holiday is usually a small affair, but this year because my sister's boyfriend, Moose, will be joining us, my mother feels obligated to do the whole kit-n-kaboodle. I love that stuff, but I'm a mutant in my family. No one wants to do "traditional" holiday things, but me. My sister fluctuates from year to year. Anyhoo, I'm excited to be making mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. What I'm not looking forward to is constantly trying to de-stress my parents, mediate their conversations with Moose, and sleep on the floor. Well, it's only once a year, right? Plus, I am also looking forward to catching up on sleep and many, many DVDs. Heh.

Hope you have a fun, food-filled, relaxing holiday! See you all on Monday. Gobble gobble.
