Cast of Characters

Alphabetical order, folks; this isn't brain surgery:

Bashful = Male. Lives in the apartment below Malek's and Roomie's WP apartment and thinks that the two of them are having crazy sex. As of December 2005, I have been introduced to him. He has a dog named Jake. Seems like a nice, if very shy, guy.

Caucasian Red = Male. President of the Condo Board Association of Malek's and Roomie's building when they lived in WP.

Daisy = Female. Mr. Sunshine's gf, so named because she nicknamed Mr. Sunshine's car, "Daisy," when in fact, the car's name is The Yellow Bastard. (Not to mention, it's rather fitting that Mr. Sunshine's girlfriend is Daisy - they just go together.)

Goo-Goo = Male. Voxqueror's ex-bf from high school who text-messages her at random times of the night. If you want to know how he got his name, talk to Voxqueror.

Holster = Male. Liberal, hip friend from law school who should really be a Cantonese pop star. Voxqueror and he love the karaoke. Right now he's on the West Coast getting tan and surfing...well not really, but he should be instead of writing all those papers that will make a famous human rights scholar.

Miss Saigon = Malek's friend and college roommate who's Korean. The musical was repeatedly reenacted in the apartment back in the day. (If both Tall White Chick and Miss Saigon are drunk enough, an encore performance is occasionally granted.)

Mr. T. = Male. Sketchy classmate from law school with a deep, resonant, sexy voice. Friends with Rapunzel.

Newsie = Male. Lives in Malek's and Roomie's WP condo building. Roomie thinks he has an Asian fetish and is a consultant. He looks like a blonde David Moscow who was in the Disney musical Newsies and also played the asshole in Honey. Yes, quality movies, I know.

Okt = Male. Friend of Mr. Sunshine who's gf dumped him after he moved to Chicago for her. He lives in WP, Malek's and Roomie's old neighborhood.

Rapunzel = Female. Friend from law school so-called because she's locked up in the high-rise slaving away for the firm. Once upon a time, she was a fun-loving party girl, now it's work, work, work a la the Seven Dwarfs.

ReadyMcReady = Female. Friend from law school who now works in New York and loves nicknames that have "Mc" in them.

Roomie = Male. Ah, Roomie. My roommate and friend from law school! This blog has many of our random tales and adventures. Stay tuned for more.

Silverflame = Male, of Law School Musical fame. More than likely he will be a student-at-large for many years to come and author the book, Freeriding: A Guide to a Great Life.

The Russian = Male. Now known as SidePocket. Lives and works in New York. All the time.

Tall White Chick = Female. Malek's friend and former roommate from college. She was so dubbed back in the day because she was the only non-Asian in the apartment. Currently, she's a second-year medical resident and dating Roomie.
